Dr. Scott Washburn is a professor of transportation engineering in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at the University of Florida. Dr. Washburn’s areas of expertise include traffic flow theory, traffic operations analysis, traffic simulation model development, and development of traffic analysis and level of service computational methodologies. Dr. Washburn is also co-author of a leading textbook and develops software tools for professional practice, education, and research.
