Ms. Andrea Bill is currently the Director of Local Technical Assistance Prorgam and Associate Director with the Traffic Operations and Safety Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her current research incorporates aspects from different disciplines, with a specific emphasis on discovering new and innovative ways to analyze traffic crashes. She is actively involved in the Transportation Research Board, Institute of Transportation Engineers, and American Society of Engineering Education. She managed several projects on crash data quality, traffic record improvement, integration of disparate datasets to improve traffic safety, predictive modeling of crashes, law enforcement safety. Ms. Bill has been a member of the Wisconsin Traffic Records Coordinating Committee for the last 15 years and Chair for the last 2 years. She is a member of TRB’s Standing Committee on Transportation Safety Management Systems (ANB10). She also leads outreach and extension efforts to local transportation agencies in Wisconsin. She also led the development of the last three editions of Wisconsin’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
