Egemen Okte is a Research Assistant Professor and Lecturer at University of Massachusetts Amherst. He completed his masters and PhD at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his bachelors at Middle East Technical University in Turkiye. His research mainly focuses on infrastructure sustainability, sustainable pavement design, triple-bottom line, use of AI and machine learning to predict infrastructure performance and the autonomous vehicle-pavement interaction. He is an active member of the Academy of Pavement Science and Engineering pavement sustainability and resiliency essentials for academics task force as well the ASCE T&DI Artificial intelligence committee as student chapter faculty advisor.
