Abbas is a pavement engineer at AECOM with more than 10 years of experience in research, consulting, and engineering. He has been involved in several pavement testing, analysis, and management projects. He has conducted pavement evaluations involving manual and automated pavement condition surveys, pavement structural analysis, and implemented PAVER pavement management systems for airports, cities, and counties. He has also been involved in GIS integration and mapping of assets for pavement management systems. Prior to joining AECOM, Abbas worked for a Pavement Specialist firm working with automated/vehicle based pavement condition evaluation systems .
