Dr. Jidong J. Yang is an Associate Professor in College of Engineering at the University of Georgia. His multidisciplinary research spans civil/environmental engineering, data science, computer vision, machine learning, system optimization and control, internet of things, and cyber-physical systems. Dr. Yang’s current research focuses on developing novel machine learning/deep learning methods and leveraging the “Big Data” available today for a broad range of engineering applications.
