Wangyu Ma, is a project manager at The Transtec Group. His major responsibility at Transtec is conducting pavement design, analysis, research, and providing engineering guidance for Design Build (DB), Design Bid Build (DBB), and Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects nationwide. Prior to joining Transtec, he worked at West Texas Paving as a project engineer for two and half years, where he conducted pavement mix design, quality control, and pavement construction management. Wangyu Ma received his doctoral degree in civil engineering from Auburn University in 2018. While at Auburn, he worked at the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) as a graduate research assistant, focusing on research of pavement materials characterization and asphalt pavement recycling sponsored by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and other agencies.
