Hasan has been working as a Staff Civil Engineer at Applied Research Associates, Inc. since 2016. He has been involved in multiple research projects at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center. Prior to that, he earned his doctoral degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. His research interests include full scale accelerated pavement testing, advanced material characterization for mechanistic empirical pavement design framework and implementation of sustainable construction practices.
