Andrew Bata is a career long urban transportation professional having specific experience in both the public and private sectors in various executive roles. At the MTA, his most recent role was as Chief of Innovation and Global Best Practices. He currently serves as the Regional Manager for North America for UITP, the International Association for Public Tranport. Andrew hold a Master of Science in Transportation from Northwestern University. He is also an Adjunct Assiatant Prifessor of Transportation at Columbia and New York Universities. He is a strong advocate of high quality, sustainabilty=focused urban lifestyle. He lives in New York City without owing a car and is an avid user of public transit wordwide.
