I am currently a phd candiate in Civil Engineering in UIUC. I am also a research assistant working in Illinois Center for Transportation. My research topics are targeting at the sustainability assessment of pavement structures using methods: life-cycle assessment and life-cycle cost analysis. I am also working on the application of machine learning and deep learning in pavement. For example, pavement performance prediction using recurrent neural network. One of my works now is trying to construct physic-informed neural network to estimate the 3D finite element response of pavement structures.
